Shire LetterFebruary 19, 2013 Dear Gaucher Patient Community, At Shire, we are constantly challenging ourselves to be as brave as the people we help. To this end, when Shire became aware of an acute need for financial support of the NGF's Care premium assistance program and the potential for new limitations, we made it a top priority to find how we could help. The Care program serves as a critical resource for patients who might otherwise not have access to a variety of treatments for Gaucher disease and some patients have nowhere else to turn to for assistance. Shire’s commitment to Gaucher patients and our partnership with the NGF will help the Care program continue without change in 2013. If you have any questions regarding the Care program, please be in touch with your usual contact at the NGF.
