Chart Your Own Course: A Scholarship Program for the LSD Community

What Is Chart Your Own Course?

Chart Your Own Course program is an educational scholarship program established by Sanofi Genzyme in 2013 to help students in the lysosomal storage disorder (LSD) community pursue their educational dreams. The fifth annual, 2017, Chart Your Own Course application period is now open. An independent review committee will select fifteen qualified recipients to be awarded a $2,500 scholarship.

Who Is Eligible?

Anyone living with an LSD — regardless of treatment status — may apply for a scholarship. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or green card holders who will be part or full-time students in Fall 2017 at an accredited college, university, or vocational or trade school. Find out more about eligibility.

How Do I Apply?

Visit ChartYourOwnCourseScholarship.com to get more details and download the application form. You’ll need to gather school transcripts and other details, obtain a personal reference, and write some brief personal statements. Applications must be postmarked by July1, 2017 and winners will be announced in August.

Chart Your Own Course award recipients are selected by an independent review committee and no Sanofi Genzyme employees are involved in the review process. Sanofi Genzyme has established eligibility criteria for the program — any changes to those criteria, to award amounts or to other program details are at the sole discretion of Sanofi Genzyme.
