The Gaucher Mentor Program provides people with Gaucher disease the opportunity to connect with others to share experiences, stories, and resources related to Gaucher disease. This program allows direct contact via phone or email with individuals who have experienced and problem-solved many of the questions or concerns that familes and individuals with Gaucher may have.
Patient advocates and patient mentors can support and be a positive impact on other people with Gaucher disease. Sharing their experiences can be empowering to others, and can provide positive reinforcement as the new diagnosis of the genetic condition often raises many questions and concerns. On this page, you will find a list of our mentors and their email addresses so that you can write to them directly and privately. If you wish to begin a public forum with our Mentors, please select a subject listed under “Public Mentor Topics”. This will allow your question or comment to be shared with others and for the answers to your questions or comments to be shared as well. Please be advised that if you enter the public forum and ask a question or give an answer it will be a matter of public record within the forum, however you may use a nickname. Your questions, or the answers given by our Mentors may help others. If you ask questions from the forum, more than one Mentor will be able to join in on the discussion.
